Hey there, dog lovers! Our summers are getting warmer and one way to care for your hot dog is to whip up some cool, refreshing treats. And guess what? These treats are not only delicious but also plant-based! I've rounded up five of my favorite frozen recipes that are sure to make your pup's tail wag with joy. Let’s dive in!
1. Peanut Butter Banana Pops
Who doesn’t love the classic combo of peanut butter and banana? These pops are super easy to make and a hit with dogs.
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup of unsweetened peanut butter
- 1 cup of water
Instructions:
- Blend the banana, peanut butter, and water until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into ice cube trays or silicone molds.
- Freeze for at least 3 hours.
- Pop one out and watch your dog go bananas!
Too much PB? Swap some of that nut butter out for some defatted peanut butter or PB Fit. I also like adding a little bit of nutritional yeast for extra protein, b vitamins, and a cheesy flavor dogs love.

These blueberry coconut coolers are packed with antioxidants and have a refreshing tropical twist.

- Stir in the chia seeds if using.
- Pour into molds or ice cube trays.
- Freeze for a few hours until solid.
- Serve to your pup for a berry good time!
